Special-needs Labrador only dog left after 'Empty the Shelters' event at this Humane Society

HARBOR SPRINGS, MI - After taking part in the fruitful statewide "Discharge the Shelters" pet reception day a weekend ago, the Humane Society in Harbor Springs has only one canine left.

What's more, poor Eastwood is somewhat desolate.

The red-covered Labrador retriever blend was conceived with some medical issues that ought to have been settled when he was a puppy, yet weren't.

When he was discovered meandering exposed to the harsh elements, almost visually impaired, he was taken to the Little Traverse Bay Humane Society. While Eastwood's vision isn't flawless, it's currently quite enhanced, shield staff say.

The 1-year-old puppy's other issue that may should be settled later is a hereditary imperfection with one of his back legs. Staff say he's figured out how to adjust for his handicap.

"Poor Eastwood is so desolate now that the greater part of his buddies have been embraced!" the asylum staff composed Monday on Facebook.

"Eastwood is the main canine left at the asylum after Empty the Shelters on Saturday, yet we know the ideal home is out there some place. This astonishing kid has a couple medical problems that should be tended to (which is the reason we think he was deserted at first, poor person!), yet this kid is so sweet, we know it will be well justified, despite all the trouble."

More than 1,500 creatures were received Saturday, April 29, from 66 havens and save bunches crosswise over Michigan, with all the appropriation charges financed by the Bissell Pet Foundation. The receptions purged about 20 protects before the day's over.

That was valid for Harbor Springs. With the exception of Eastwood.

"I know I'm a "unique needs" sort of fellow, yet that doesn't mean I don't need an eternity home. If it's not too much trouble say you are one of those "exceptional needs" sort of individuals that affections to help unfortunates like me, I'll give you my entire heart unequivocally. I'm that sort of fellow," his sanctuary bio says.
